Birthday Parties

The Hahndorf Farm Barn is a very popular destination to celebrate children's birthdays. Children of all ages just love having birthday parties at the Hahndorf Farm Barn surrounded by their favourite cute and cuddly animals. We have a covered area just outside the main Farm Barn building which is set up with picnic benches and seating under a pergola as well as a second area under a rotunda in a more secluded section of the farm. And if the weather is warm and sunny there is a delightful shaded area under the trees as well.

Parties run for 2 hours to fit everything in!! Sessions run from either 10.30am to 12.30pm or 1.00pm to 3.00pm so give us a call to book yours soon! Bookings are essential.

Option 1 - Fully catered & hosted party

Our most popular party option is our personally hosted and catered party for kids for 2 hours. 
Let us look after the catering for your party, we even do your party decorations, and you get to leave the mess behind - all you need to bring are the kids! 

• All party food and cupcakes for kids
• 2 party hosts for 2 hours
• Attend the farm show & reptile show
• Hosted tour of the wildlife park
• All animal feed is provided
• Printable invitations available
• $420 for up to 12 kids, $18 per child thereafter (nb - for parties of 20 kids or more, an extra host will be required to effectively supervise that many children, fees apply)
• Parents of the party child are free
• $10 per additional adult or concession (special party pricing, normally $13)

Option 2 - Self catered

Another party option is the self catered party where you can bring your own picnic or BBQ and a range of soft drinks, as well as tea and coffee, is available from the Farm Barn. The same party session times as above apply for self catered parties.

• $50 picnic area booking, including BBQ use, plus
• $10 per child and just $10 per adult or concession 

Would you like a Pony Party?? Ask about PONY RIDES for your party!! Just $5 per participating child! Pony rides would take place at the completion of the allocated party time (2 hour party time is already jam packed!) so allow an extra half hour at the end when inviting your guests!  *nb - there's no additional cost for extra time other than $5 pony ride cost per child!

"We had my daughters 6th birthday at Hahndorf Farm Barn on Sunday 2nd of September. We had 12 children, fully catered & were allowed to stay & play longer as well!! All of the kids had a great time & we did too!! You guys are doing a fantastic job and I think it is amazing that there is a place such as yours so close to the city where "city kids" can come to interact with farm animals, especially since so many of them don't even have any pets. All of the kids loved feeding the animals and milking the cow & quite a few asked if they could take the guinea pigs and rabbits home. Our hosts were fantastic, and not once did I see a single one of the kids sulking or sitting down. We had alot of warn out kids that were early to bed that night. I will be taking all interstate visitors (especially the ones with littlies) here for a fantastic experience. So thankyou once again and keep up the amazing work!!!" :) A. We usually host a couple of kid's birthday parties on both Saturday and Sunday so it is necessary for you to book ahead. This enables us to set aside a special area for you. It really is a fun place to celebrate that special children's birthday.
