Hahndorf Farm Barn

Your privacy

What we keep about you, why, who else holds it, and how to see it, fix it or say no.

We keep only what we need to run the farm: to sell you tickets, take your bookings and tell you what's on. If anything here isn't clear, ask us: visit@farmbarn.com.au or (08) 8388 7289.

What we keep

Tickets, vouchers and passes

Your name, email, what you bought and when. Your card goes straight to Stripe, who take the payment; we never see or keep its number.

Bookings

For a party, a school or group visit, the mobile farm or the farm stay, the name, email and phone of whoever books, the day, how many are coming, and anything you tell us, like allergies or access needs.

Offers and our news

Your first name and email, your code, and whether you ticked the box for our news, with the words you saw and when.

Emails, calls and texts

What you send us. We record phone calls to the farm, and say so at the start of each call.

The website

The page you arrived on and what sent you there (an ad, an email or a search), kept for 30 days in a small file of our own on your device. And Meta's pixel, unless you say no.

At the gate

The codes and vouchers we scan, and what you bought at the till.

Why we keep it

To sell you tickets, take your bookings and answer your questions.

To send what you asked for: tickets, receipts, codes and booking details.

To send our news and offers, if you said yes or you've bought from us before. Every one has a link to stop them.

To see which of our ads and offers bring families to the farm, so we spend less on the ones that don't.

To keep our accounts, as the law asks.

Our ads, and Meta's pixel

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. Meta's pixel is a small piece of Meta's code on our website. It tells Meta when someone looks at an offer, claims a code or buys tickets, so we can see which of our ads work, and Meta can show them to people like you.

It only runs if you haven't said no. You can say no any time under Your choices, below.

When you claim a code or buy tickets, our system tells Meta too, so it's counted once, and when you buy tickets Google's ads tag tells Google. With it go your email, phone number and name, scrambled first, a scrambled number that's ours for you, and your suburb, state, postcode and country if we have them. Meta and Google can still match those to a Facebook, Instagram or Google account: that's how they know which of our ads worked.

Google's ads tag counts ticket purchases that came from our Google ads. Saying no to Meta's pixel turns it off too. Say no and nothing about you goes to Meta or Google, from your browser or from our system.

We never put your name, email or code in a web address the pixel can see. What Meta and Google do with what they receive is in their own privacy policies.
